Singapore Airlines A350 Business Class (SQ33) — Seat & Sleeping (Kid’s-Eye Review)
Quick verdict
If your main goal is sleep, this seat is the best part of the flight. It’s big, feels luxurious, and turns into an incredible bed.

First impressions (Seat 27A)
I sat in 27A (window). My first impression was: big, luxurious seats with plenty of room.
One thing that surprised me: some people might think these seats aren’t lie-flat at first — until the seat actually converts into bed mode.
Comfort & layout
- Padding: amazing — the seat feels great.
- Armrests: could use more padding.
- Window position: well placed for looking out.
- Lighting: very well spaced.

Storage (lots of it)
Storage was a highlight: plenty of room and lots of compartments.

Controls, tray table, and usability
- Seat controls: hard to get to work / finicky, and it was hard to make the seat recline.
- Tray table: big and sturdy.
- Screen: big, but not a touchscreen (harder to use).

Sleeping: the best part
Sleeping on this plane was incredible — my favorite part of the whole experience.
- The crew helps set up the bed by pulling the back of the seat down, and your bed is basically ready.
- You may end up sleeping diagonally because the footwell is closed and not huge.
- There’s no personal airflow, but the temperature felt just right.

Entertainment, power, and Wi‑Fi
- TV/movies: good selection
- Games: none
- Charging: available
- Wi‑Fi: free in business class

Who will love (or not love) this seat
- Will love it: anyone who prioritizes sleep, space, and a luxury feel.
- Might not love it: people with wider legs — the leg/footwell space is smaller.
Best & worst (in one line)
- Best: the bed — “literally the best possible.”
- Most annoying: no personal airflow + non-touchscreen screen (but neither is a dealbreaker).
