About Me

Hey there, fellow adventurers! I’m Jonathan Stevens, the face behind this travel blog dedicated to exploring the world with our incredible trio: Abbey, David, and Caleb. Together with my amazing wife, Kara, we’ve embarked on an epic journey that combines wanderlust with homeschooling, remote work, and unforgettable family experiences.

Meet the Family

Our home base is in the stunning city of Denver, Colorado, where we’ve woven a tapestry of love and adventure around our family of five. Kara is the educational guru, passionately homeschooling our kids, ensuring they receive a world-class education that transcends traditional classroom walls. I’ve been fortunate enough to find a remote job that lets me bring home the bacon while exploring the world with my family.

Our Wanderlust Journey

Our story is not just about travel; it’s about a thirst for knowledge, cultural understanding, and the desire to create lasting memories. We believe that the world is our classroom, and every corner of this planet offers a unique lesson waiting to be learned.

Over the years, we’ve ventured to breathtaking destinations like Sweden, Costa Rica, Peru, Australia, Spain, France, England, Italy, Denmark, and Germany. Each place has left an indelible mark on our family’s collective heart, fostering a love for diversity, languages, and history in our children.

Why We Do It

We’re not just tourists; we’re explorers on a mission to broaden our horizons, build lasting bonds, and make every moment count. Traveling as a family allows us to grow together, fostering resilience, adaptability, and an appreciation for the beauty of our world.

Our Journey Continues

In this blog, we’ll share our adventures, insights, and practical tips for traveling with kids, from navigating the airport chaos to finding family-friendly activities in far-flung destinations. We hope to inspire you to embark on your own adventures and create lifelong memories with your loved ones.

Join us on this exciting journey as we explore, learn, and grow together. Together, we’ll prove that the world is not too big for little feet, and that the lessons learned on the road are the most valuable ones of all. Welcome to our family’s travel odyssey!
